FAMILY OF JOHN MILLAR 0F COVE HEAD
_ John Miller, his wife (whose name is unknown), and several daughters came from Muthill, Pertshire, on the "Palmouth" in 1770 and settled at Covehead, Lot 34. He and his wife were living there in April, 1798, both aged over 60 years, with their son John and
daughter Janet. The dates of their deaths are unknown. CHILDREN

‘ 1779 William Douglas (b. in Dumfries, ca. 1750; d. shortly be- fore 20 Feb. 1835 ae. 85), Esquire, of Head of Hillsborough, Lot 38.
ii Annabella, b. ca. 1764; d. before 1790; m. probably before 1780, John MeGregor (b. ca. 1765; d. at Black Point, Lot 33, 16 Feb. 1832 ae. 87), who came on the "Balmouth". He m. 2nd, 25 Mar. 1790, Margaret Gregor (1760 - 1844), daughter of Peter Gregor of Brackley Point. V
iii Isabella, b. ca. 1766; d. at Brackley Peint, Lot 33, Friday, 13 May 1814; m; by Rev. DeaBrisay, 15 Jan. 1785, Duncan Shaw (d. before 13 May 1814), son of Neil and Catherine (McIvor) Shaw, who also come on the "Falmouth". They were living in Covehead in April 1798, and moved to Brackley Point, Lot 33
about 1809.
