Bicentennial celebrations are planned for June 6th and 7th, 1970. mese celebrations are being organized by a bicentennial committee con- .sting of members from Stanhope, West Covehead, and Brackley Point. 1e Women's Institute of West Covehead called the first meeting which us increased to include Stanhope, where the Women's Institute had :arted a community history, and Brackley Point where many families,

The celebrations include a concert, Beauty contest, baby contest, xd old time step dancing and fiddling contest. On June 6th, parades 11 be held and a cairn erected to commemorate the arrival of the rst settlers will be unveiled. The inscription on the plaque on the
