We will never‘know the hardships, Of these brave courageous men, For there wasn't many luxuries

On the Island of Ste. Jean.

And was it worth the heartaches When they was that land so green? Well I bet they played the bagpipes

On the sands of Isle Ste. Jean.

They cleared their farms, built new homes Built roads, worked hand in hand; And soon the name of Isle Ste. Jean,

Became Prince Edward Island.

You may wonder why we celebrate, And why we feel so proud; There still are many mysteries

Buried with the Falmouth's shrouds.

Now I'm going to ask a question "Where would you and I have been,' If the Falmouth had not landed

On the Island of Ste. Jean?"
