McKenzie ., ...... 1914 This Association receives an annual grant of $300.00 from the Provincial Department of Agriculture, and the same amount from the Federal Department to assist in the payment of the salary of an Inspector for the factories and their products. Mr. F. T. Morrow was appointed Inspector in the year 1901 and has been continued ever since. The Association also received special grants for special pur- poses, such as the holding of Dairy Herd Competitions. The total sum for 1912 was $450.00. In 1915 the association offered prizes for the full year, and the success achieved has shown that there are a number of splen- did herds in the Province and that sections in which Dairy Records centres are in operation received the lion’s share of the ptizes. HORSE BREEDERS’ ASSOCIATION. This Association was formed in the Spring of 1913 with the following oflicers: W. W. Crosby, Cornwall, President; Jabez Lea, Victoria, xst Vice Pres.; H. H. Acorn, Souris 2nd Vice Pres ; Robert Baker, North Bedeque, Stanley Wedlock, Charlottetown, David Reid, Victoria Cross, Directors. The Association receives the fees from the registration of stallions and a sum sufiicient to enable it to carry on its work. SHEEP BREEDERS’ ASSOCIATION The Sheep Breeders‘ Association was formed in the autumn of 1913. Its officers are : George Boswall, Frenchfort, President; Michael Keenan, Georgetown, Vice-President for Kings; j. M. Laird, Kelvin, Vice-President for Prince; Theodore Ross, Secretary ; Ernest Lund, Bethel; C. B. Clay, Bridgetown; Rev. P. C. Gauthier, St. Louis, are the Directors.
