A thorough ENGLISH and COM- MERCIAL education is imparted, and students are prepared for COLLEGE MATRICULATION and for CIVIL SERVICE examination. Instruction can be obtained in Shorthand and Typewriting, also in Music, both Vocal and Instrumental. If desirable students can take, in addition to their work in the Academy, one or more classes in the University.
