KENNETH MORIN
Cpl. Morris Kenneth Morin purchased the former William Rogers property (code 36) and moved to Freetown in Aug. 1981. Corporal Morin was a member of the R.C.M.P. Detachment in Summerside. He also had an interest in farming and kept some farm animals during his sojourn in Freetown. He purchased
the place from Mr. Desroches who had lived there. They sold the place to Gordon MacLean and left Freetown 25 June 1982 to accept a position on the Police Force in Port Hawkesbury, N.S.
Kenneth Morin was b. 16 Feb. 1946, the son of Omer and Leona (St. Jean) Morin in Cobalt, Ont. He in. Mary Catherine Macdonald, the dau. of John Roderick and Mary Irene (King) Macdonald, Antigonish, N.S. on 28 Feb. 1970. She was b. in Antigonish, 3 Apr. 1950.
They had three ch. surname Morin: 1. David Gerrit b. 1 Oct. 1970 at Antigonish, NS. 2. Omer “Robert” Scott b. 4 Sept. 1971 at Antigonish, NS. 3. Kenneth Macdonald b. 10 Sept. 1975 at Halifax, NS.
David and Robert went to Athena Elementary School on the Unit 2 school bus system when they were

HECTOR MORRISON Hector moved to Freetown from Granville and purchased a house and lot around 1888 from Walter and Isobella Anderson. He operated a tailoring business for about two years and then moved to Kensington.
LYMAN MORRISON
Lyman Morrison resided in Freetown for several years when he worked for farmers including Simmons and MacFarlane and Austin A. Scales. He lived in the village.
Lyman was m. to Ruth Taylor of Malpeque. They had one dau., Shirley. She is m. to Chester MacQuarrie and they have three daughters.
Lyman is now deceased, and Ruth is employed in Stedmans Store in Kensington.
WALDON MORRISON Waldon resided in Freetown and lived with Garnet and Melvina Warren. He went to school in Freetown. He also worked with several farmers.
Waldon resides in Calgary, Alberta, where he is married and has a family.
JOHN FRANCIS MOYNAGH
John Francis Moynagh lived in South Freetown in a house on a lot (code 95). His occupation was a plasterer. He lived there for many years where he pursued his trade. In the early 19005 their house was moved to Emerald, where they lived with their son Emmett until their death.
John Francis was b. the son of Patrick and Jane (McCarville) Moynagh in Chicago, about 1864. He m. Mary White of South Freetown on 14 May 1889. Jane (McCarville) Moynagh d. 13 Dec. 1882, age 58 and is buried at St. James Cem. Summerfield.
They resided in South Freetown and had five ch: surname Moynagh. 2a Joseph b. 2 Apr. 1890. He m. Mary O’Neill and lived in Boston, Mass. He d. 29 Nov. 1954.
2b Agatha b. 26 May 1892. She m. Cecil Caseley, 28 Sept. 1915 and resided in Spring Valley. She d. 1961. He (1. 1970. They had three ch.: Leonard, Lillian and Eunice.
2c Hilary b. 25 Feb. 1894. He d. in his twenties.
2d John Emmett b. 17 Aug. 1896. He m. Mary Mohan of Emerald, 7 Apr. 1920. He d. 26 May 1948.
2e Margaret b. 2 Sept. 1898. She m. Clarence Mohan of Emerald, 28 Sept. 1921. Margaret d. 26 Nov. 1984 in St. Stephen, N.B.
WILLIAM MOYSE William Moyse was a son of Capt. Thomas and Rachel (Green) Moyse. Rachel was a dau. of Daniel Green, the Loyalist.
William was b. 1814 and d. 1885. He In. his cousin, Mary Schurman (1824-1906), a dau. of Robert and Elizabeth (Moyse) Baker. They lived in Freetown (code 41) where they had a small acreage.
They had no children. 355
