May 15, 1873; he appears to be the same John Strong, baptised, a convert, by Father Patrick Doyle, on January 30, 1872 and married the same day to Catherine Murphy in Somerset; according to the St. Malachy's parish register. Mr. Duffy's appointment was announced in the Patriot on August 14, 1873; Mr. O‘Ronaghan's appointment was

announced in the Patriot on October 2, 1873.
