Morley Sabine Acorn and his friend "Boss." 1870-1936 Morley Acorn , son of Charles and Caroline (Sabine) Acorn entered the photography business full-time about 1914 in a studio on the north side of . Later, in 1926, he moved into the Leard Building across the street. Here he also operated a Novelty Shop and sold gasoline for both Imperial Oil and Irving Oil . He was a member of the Souris Band and delighted many community concerts with his fine bass voice. He married Gussie, a daughter of Dr. E.B. Muttart . When he died in 1936, he was Mayor of the Town.
