Wooden sidewalks and hitching posts. Streets were not paved until the 19405.

Wooden sidewalks were built on both side of Main Street and gradually installed on the side streets. In 1914, the Sidewalk Committee of the Town Council reported the first section of concrete sidewalk had been laid.
