This is one of the oldest homes in Southport. A former owner was Rev. Dr. Genge, a minister. The property is now in the possession of Harry

Miller.

THE CAHILL HOUSE 29 Bayside Drive

The present owner is Carlyle Cahill. He says it is approximately 150 years old, and at one time there was an outside stairs leading to the third storey which was used for a public hall. It had a raised stage at one end and dressing rooms on either side. The Militia was also trained there.
