This property is now owned by George Shaw . Henry's wife Susanna died on December 11,1851, and was buried in the Stanhope cemetery; and on April 23, 1862 James A. Green , a native of Manningtree, England , died at the residence of his brother Henry in Stanhope (as recorded in the family Bible). On January 22, 1856 Henry married, as his second wife, Elizabeth (Betsy) Douglas, daughter of John and Mary Ann (Higgins) Douglas of Stanhope . In the 1881 census they are still living in Stanhope , Henry aged 80 and Betsy 72. The 1880 atlas shows that they had an additional 25 acres of land on the , where Louis and Marcella Maye later lived. At some time after 1881 Henry and Betsy moved to Ebenezer , P.E.I. , to live their remaining years with their son James; none of the family was living in Stanhope after this time.
