Building The Approaches And Foundation 7

The above reports cover the huge acreage of two townships or lots and include such rapidly expanding centres as Kensington and the area around Bedeque Bay two ideal situations for the shipping trade.

Our interests are centered on small parts of Lots 19 and 25 and the question arises as to what developments were taking place along the Wilmot River during these early years. It is certain that settlers were finding their way there; cutting out their little farms, building their little cabins and facing the hardships of pioneer life. But even a weary and homesick heart would rebound with new vigor and thankfulness and continue to live and work contentedly in this new land when surrounded by the comforting charm of the gently’flowing Wilmot River.
