Remember when:

The favorite testing place for the 1920 cars was the steep “Old Mill” hill at the Dunk. In high gear these early model cars could not make it but the slick car salesman would slip the machine into second gear and the pro- spective buyer, not knowing the difference would be convinced that this was the best car on the market.

Remember when:

Mud digging fever would hit the community and nearly every farmer was involved. The men who owned and operated the mud diggers, namely: John Hogg, Reuben Large, Harry Waugh and Charles Huestis, had to be on the job early to fill the waiting sleighs.

This team won many contests over a period of five years. They were finally defeated in a pull for the Provincial Championship.
