142 A Bridge To The Past

Summerside when Harvey was one and one-half years of age. On Oct. 7, 1977 Harvey married Joyce Clare Fitzgerald Graham (1954), daughter of Harry and Betty (Ramsay) Fitzgerald of Richmond, P.E.l. They moved to Wilmot Valley from St. Eleanor‘s on July 8, 1978. Harvey is employed with Amalgamated Dairies Ltd. and Joyce is a stenographer at P.E.I. Mutual Fire Insurance Co. They have one son, Jason Graham (1972).

RAMSAY

The first home on the south side of the Blueshank, just east of the Forbes house, is the home of Marvyn and Earith Ramsay. Marvyn George (1943) is the son of George and Elga (Biggar) Ramsay of Harmony, P.E.I. On Nov. 8, 1969 he married Earith Myrtle Adams (1947), daughter of Wallace and Alma (Campbell) Adams of Darnley, P.E.I. They moved to Wilmot Valley from Summerside, in April, 1973. Marvyn is an electrician. The Ramsays have three daughters: Melanie Lynn (1972), Bethany Dawn (1974) and Shelley Ann (1976).

MCCOURT

Clifford and Sandra McCourt live in the home east of the Ramsay house. Clifford Bernard (1944) is the son of Elmer and Leona (Murphy) McCourt of South Freetown. Clifford married Sandra Marie Hamill (1948), daughter of James and Beryl (Dorsey) Hamill, of Middleton, on Nov. 8, 1969. They came to Wilmot Valley from O‘Leary, moving into their new home in February of 1973. Clifford works at Callbeck‘s Ltd., Central Bedeque, in the building supplies department. Sandra received her R.N. from Charlottetown Hospital in 1964. The McCourts have four children: Kimberly Ann (1970), Jeffery James (1971), Michelle Marie (1976), and Tammy Bernadette (1979).

MCCOU RT

After passing by Clifford McCourt‘s home one comes to the Edwin McCourt home. Louis Edwin was born on November 3, 1948, and is the son of Elmer and Leona McCourt of South Freetown, and a brother of Clifford. On October 28, 1972 he married Shirley Margaret Gallant who is the daughter of Joseph A. and Guelda (Avery) Gallant of Searletown. Shirley was born on April 23, 1949. They moved to Wilmot Valley from Summerside on Feb. 15, 1974. Edwin is a mechanic at the Regional Ad- ministrative Unit Two bus-depot, in Summerside. Edwin and Shirley have two children: Ryan J05eph (June 12, 1975) and Randy Bernard (May 9, 1979.)
