son of Gerard and Louise (Bernier) Guay of Montreal, P.Q. He married Sheila Ann Marie (MacDonald) Gallant on June 25, 1976. Sheila, who is the daughter of Hubert and Alice (Cheverie) MacDonald of Souris, was born in 1948. Michel is a member of the Canadian Armed Forces and Sheila is an accounting-machine operator at the Regional Administrative Unit Two School-board office.
BRANDER
Charles Bertram (Buddy) Brander was born on April 12, 1948 and is the son of William B. and Mary Josephine (MacRae) Brander of Sea View. Buddy married Gwendolyn Ann (Dolly) Silk on July 10, 1971. Dolly (March 19, 1949) was a physical education teacher. She is the daughter of Leonard Nelson and Sarah Vivian (Nixon) Silk of Perth, Ontario. Buddy is Physical Education Co-Ordinator for Regional Administrative Unit Two School- board. The Branders bought the second house which Thomas Reid had built, and moved here from Baltic, P.E.l. in October, 1978. Their children are Sarah Chalyn (Sept. 9, 1976) and Amanda Jean (July 1 1, 1978).
SINCLAIR
Allen Willard Sinclair (1946) is the son of J. Crawford and Ethel (Day) Sinclair of Springfield, P.E.1. He married Elva Kay Jean Small (1946), daughter of Ennis and Jean (Webster) Small of Wilmot. They moved to Wilmot Valley in August, 1971, from Wilmot. They lived at first in the house that Brian Chappell lives in (1979), but sold this house to Brian in May, 1979, and moved into their new home in September, 1979. Their new home, which is a split-level house with garage, is slightly east of the Brander house, on the north side of the road. The Sinclairs also own the adjacent barn and pasture fields that belonged previously to W.J.R. MacDonald. Allen is an electrical-wiring instructor at Holland College, in Summerside. Elva was secretary at Trinity United Church in Summerside until July, 1978. Allen and Elva have three children: Karen Lee (1966), Todd Alan (1968) and Debra Kay (1978).
The next home on the north side of the Blueshank, bordered by Allen Sinclair‘s land, is the home of Earl and Wanda Dyment. The land that the Dyments and Sinclairs own previously belonged to J. Waugh, the Hackers, the Simmons family, H. Waugh and W.J.R. MacDonald. The Dyment house was built by Harry Simmons.
