Wendell is Assistant Manager-Operations with the Bank of Nova Scotia in St. John. Their two children are Trevor and Sarah. Louise (1952) married Errol Thompson, who works at Buell Motors in Summer- side. They live in New Annan and their children are Calvin and Cory. DYMENT Kenneth Earle Dyment (Feb. 10, 1923) is the son of Bertha Jane (Birch) Dyment and the late Edward Dyment of Margate. He married Myrtle Wanda Mann (1924), daughter of the late Leslie A. and Bertha Jane (Watts) Mann of Kensington. Earle and Wanda lived in Margate for a year, then moved to New Brunswick where Earle worked with Willett Fruit Co. They moved to Central Bedeque in 1972, and to Wilmot Valley in 1974, when they purchased the Keith Simmons house. Earle is a Life Underwriter with Imperial Life Assurance Co. of Canada. Their children are Kenneth Stephen and Catherine Jane. Kenneth Stephen (July 8, 1951) married Mary Lee White of Summerside. He is a draftsman with Prebilt Structures. They live in Charlottetown and have a daughter, Sarah. Catherine Jane (April 13, 1954) has a B.Sc. and M.L.Sc. and is a librarian with the National Research Council in Ottawa. Across the road from Earl and Wanda Dyment is the ell-shaped far- mhouse where Ira and Joyce Arsenault live. The farm which this homestead was situated on belonged originally to William Schurman. “William Schur- man, Loyalist” by Ross Graves, published by Harold B. Schurman, was ex- tremely helpful regarding the earliest settler on this farm. SCHURMAN Jacob Schurman (March 10, 1777) was a son of William Schurman, Loyalist. Jacob married Penelope McKendrick (1786-Oct. 15, 1865) on March 15, 1804. Jacob and Penelope lived on land which was part of his father’s property, about where Ira Arsenault lives (1979). It is not known how many years they lived here. They moved later to Norboro. Jacob and Penny had five children: Elizabeth (Dec. 28, 1805) married Francis or Frank Clark of Darnley.
