Brecken John, (Sept. 13, 1947) married Joyce Nicholson of Breadalbane. They live in Dartmouth, NS. and have a daughter, Bonnie.

Carmen Willard (Nov. 17, 1949) lives in Charlottetown, and does landscap- ing.

Marlene Pearl (April 17, 1955) married William Pangburn. They live in Alberta and have a son, Christopher John.

Herbert sold the farm in sections. The various buyers were Roy Simmons, Ira Arsenault, James Smallman, Alfred Matheson and Clarence Simmons. The section Clarence owned has since belonged to Arnold MacLennan, Norman Simmons, Roy Simmons and Harvey Worth.

ARSENAULT

Ira Joseph Arsenault (1941) is the son of Herbert and Goldie (Sudsbury) Arsenault of Summerside. In 1964 he married Joyce Isabelle Ross (1945), daughter of Stanley and Margaret Ross. Ira and Joyce bought the Herbert Simmons house and moved from Summerside in the summer of 1970. Ira is self-employed as a fisherman and is a harbour-pilot. Joyce is Loss Prevention Officer at Zeller’s, and is very active in the Girl Guides program. Their children are Ira Joseph Ross (May 2, 1965), Marian Beverly (May 3, 1966), Christine Frances (Feb. 20, 1968) and Sharon Anne (Jan. 20, 1974).

CLOWN EY

Immediately east of the Ira Arsenault home on the south side of the Blueshank are the trim gray and white cottage and workshop of Bill and Mae Clowney. William Henry Clowney (1916) was born in Hamilton Square, New Jersey, and was the son of Samuel Firth and Corrilla (Dye) Clowney. In 1940 he married Mae Metzler Lewis (1917) daughter of A.W.

and May (Metzler) Lewis of Dunmore, Pennsylvania. William worked with the Public Service Electric and Gas Co. in New Jersey for thirty-four years,

and is now retired. Bill and Mae spend their winters at their home in Daytona Beach, Florida, and their summers, since 1973, in Wilmot Valley.

MacKAY

Graham Roy MacKay (1939) is the son of Colin and Doris (Gilkie) MacKay of Halifax, NS. On May 5, 1962 he married Lena Rose MacNeil (1944) daughter of Steven and Mary (Carey) MacNeil of Johnstown, N.S.
