I‘ve overcome the world.” After John B.’s death in 1920 the house was divided, with Bruce and his wife liv- ing in one part and Mrs. Curtis occupying the other, until her death in 1943. John B.’s children were David Franklin, Mary Ellen, Jessie, William Scott, Henry Johnston, Harry Osborne, Bruce Harrison and John Lea Walker. David Franklin (June 3, 1878-June 22, 1955) married Jessie Isabel Humphrey (1881-1948) and they lived in a house now owned by Cyril Reynolds (1979) until 1916 when they moved to a farm in Middleton. Mary Ellen (Mamie) (Oct. 9, 1880—Nov. 8, 1971) married Robert Weeks Hogg on Dec. 14th, 1898. (See Hogg). Jessie (March 29, 1882-Feb. 1895) died of rheumatic fever. William Scott (July 29, 1884) married Alice M. Silliker. Their children were Lula (Mar. 18, 1906) and Arthur who died at 10 months of age. Alice died in Nov., 1929, and William later married .Vlac- Coubrey. They had a daughter, Helen. Henry Johnston (Feb. 28, 1887) died at eight months of age. Harry Osborne (Dec. 19, 1890—Sept. 9, 1964) married Josephine Large of Albany and bought his brother Frank‘s property when Frank moved to Middleton. (See Curtis). Bruce Harrison (Feb. 8. 1893—Aug. 1969) married Edith Jane Milligan (Dec. 20, 1894), daughter of Leighton Milligan, Sherbrooke. Bruce farmed at home until 1956 when he and Edith moved to Summerside. Their children were Georgie Alma, Mildred Eileen and Leigh Bruce. Georgie Alma (1917) married James Simmons on Jan. 12, 1937. Their children were Irene, Mervin, Lewis, Joan and Lloyd. Mildred Eileen (July 24, 1929) married Donald Campbell. Their children were David, William and Joanne. Leigh Bruce (Dec. 3. 193]) lives in British Columbia. John Lea Walker (Aug. 6, 1896—Feb. 2, 1898) died in childhood and is buried in the North Bedeque Cemetery. MILLAR Edgar Ramsay Millar (June 28, 1928) son of Sterling Shrieve and Etta Mae (Ramsay) Millar of Kelvin Grove, married Elizabeth Alma Rogerson (Sept. 8, 1934) daughter of Winfred Yeoman and Carolyn Jean (Trowsdale) Rogerson of Cape Traverse.
