Elmer (Aug. 4, 1912) married Marjorie Clark of Wilmot Valley and farms in this community.
Colin Boulter (June 8, 1918-Oct. 4, 1974) married Audrey MacKay of Albany and farmed at home.
Winnifred Elizabeth (Oct. 17, 1922) married Robert P. Hogg of Wilmot Valley. They live in Wilmot.
James Harry (1924) married Rosemary MacBeth, England, and farmed for a time in this community. Harry later married Eileen Crewe. (See account of the Harry Simmons farm.)
Eileen (Oct. 23, 1928) married Lloyd D. Hogg and they farm in Central Bedeque.
Colin married Audrey Beryl MacKay (Jan. 29, 1920), daughter of J. George and Muriel (Boulter) MacKay. He continued to farm at home until his death in 1974 which resulted from an accident on the farm. Colin led a very active life, being president of the Federation of Agriculture, and an ex- ecutive member for the Canadian Federation of Agriculture. He was also a loyal member of the Gideons International and the Sons of Temperance. Audrey continues to live at home. Colin and Audrey had four children:
Valerie Kaye (Nov. 4, 1941) married Charles Blair Scranton of Southport, P.E.1. They live in Edmonton, Alberta, and their children are Robert, Heather, Lance, Kimberley, Natalie and Andrew.
George Brian (May 29, 1945) married Darlene Clarke of Wilmot Valley and farms at home.
Lois Elizabeth (Feb. 2, 1953), received a B.A. and B.Ed. from Acadia University, and now lives at home.
Laurie Phyllis (Oct. 21, 1960) married Michael Worth, son of Mr. and Mrs. Allison Worth of St. Eleanor’s. They live in Edmonton, Alberta, and have a daughter, Hayley.
Brian married Ethel Darlene Clarke, daughter of Kenneth and Pearl Clarke of Wilmot Valley, on Nov. 9, 1968. Brian farms and does custom farming. Brian and Darlene live in the home in which Rusie lived, and have since built a large addition onto the house. Brian and Darlene have two sons: Jonathan Stephen (Feb. 19, 1972) and Alexander Colin (June 25, 1975).
Continuing along the Blueshank we find the property of Lyman Huestis beginning on the north side of the road. The western edge of this property belonged originally to James Waugh. The first settler on this fifty- acre strip was James Connell.
