Joseph Jr. later married Theresa Coulson, daughter of Thomas and Mary Coulson of Sea View. They had two children, Fred, and William (March 13, 1898). William married Marion Grandy and is a veteran of the First and Second World Wars. He lives in Summerside and he and Marion had the following children: Claudia, Betty, Margaret and Fred William. ANDERSON William Anderson was a school teacher in Wilmot Valley and owned twenty-two and one-half acres of land which was sold to Joseph Barwise in December, 1875. This land, in Lot 25, is probably part of the Huestis pro- perty today. It is possible that William and his wife Mary Jane lived in the house which the Waugh and Barwise families lived in. William and Mary Jane had a son, Hubert, who was born about 1870 and died in his youth. By 1880 William had moved to Kelvin Grove. He, or possibly a son, worked for Charles Huestis periodically. Directly across the road from the Stavert Huestis home is the home of Floyd and Georgie Caseley. As was mentioned previously. this land was owned once by the Loyalist, Lawrence Barrett. The first people who are known to have settled on this farm were the Dickiesons or Dickinsons. DICKIESON Daniel Elijah Dickieson (1783—1865) was born in Ireland. He im- migrated to P.E.1. and married Hannah Hall (1785-1857), of St. Eleanor’s. They lived first on the “New Annan" road, Rte. 120, and then moved to the presnt-day Caseley farm. They cleared the land and began to farm. “The Examiner” records that Mr. Dickieson “died in that peace of mind which is the consolation of the Gospel." Daniel and Hannah had the following children: Daniel B. (1819-Dec., 1903) farmed at home. Sarah Elizabeth (Feb. 6, 1824-1904) married Henry Moase (1823-1878) of Devonshire, England, who immigrated to P.E.1. in 1842. Joseph (Aug. 17, 1826) Jane (Oct. 24, 1829) Robert (Oct. 2, 1832) Eliza (May 14, 1838) married William Guard of New Annan, on June 17, 1867.
