Pauline Vivian (Oct. 21, 1942) married Gregory Deighan (Oct. 15, 1939 - ), son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Deighan, of Summerside, 0n Oc- tober 3, 1964. Greg works for the Unit Two School Board and Pauline is employed by the Bank of Nova Scotia. They have a family of four: Graham, Sharon, Carolyn and Craig.

Farther d0wn the road and on the north side, we come to a home which is now owned by Thomas Coolen. The first person to live here was Daniel Cobb.

COBB

In 1865 Daniel Cobb bought 100 acres of land from Alfred Schurman and built the large home Thomas Coolen now owns. Daniel (1826—Jan., 1907) was born in Norfolk, England, the son of Daniel and Mary (Fisher) Cobb. The family immigrated to P.E.I. when Daniel was a boy. Daniel was a farmer and a carpenter. He married Mary Ann Alexander (1824-June 4, 1899) and both are buried in the North Bedeque United Church Cemetery. They had eight children:

Jane (1849-1913) was married on Mar. 3, 1877 to Kenneth MacKay, and lived in Hamilton, P.E.l.
