Wed. 17 - Storming, took girls to Kensington, bought Peter Macln- tyre’s heifer for $12.50.

Mon. 22 - Captain here digging potatoes = 40 cts. Mon. 29 - Charles to S‘side with 41 bus. potatoes, paid Holman off.

November. 1900 Thu. 1 - Heggarty stopped hauling milk to cheese factory.

Sat. 3 - Charles to S’side. Mother going to Alberton. Sold 2 bushel 1 pt. of cranberries.

Tue. 6 - Charles to S’side with pork weighing 119, 125 and 147 @ 6 cts per lb.

Fri. 16 - Cold, freezing, Charles banking house. Tue. 20 - Cold and wet, plowing. Rob sick with rheumatic fever.

Thu. 22 - To Joe Taylor’s sale, bought potato scuffier, down to see Rob at night.

Sat. 24 - Cold, moved in cook stove. Fri. 30 - Charles to S’side with 121/2 lbs. ofbutter.

December, 1900 Mon. 3 - Charles getting ready to thresh. Thu. 6 - Breaking roads to Chesses, to Rosses sale in afternoon. Mon. 10 - Worst storm of season and cold, boat stopped running.

Tue. 11 Cold and frosty, the boat could not get into S’side harbour.
