The publisher of the P. E.”“1‘Calendar has taken special pains and care to halve the astronomical calculations not only accurately made, but properly revised while printing, so that errors similar to those that unfortunately appeared in last years’ Almanack will be entirely avoided in this. ‘
Much statistical matter compiled from the Journals of the House of Assembly has been added, which it is hoped will prove interesting.
The publisher is indebted to various friends for valu- able assistance in rendering correct the several lists of societies, public bodies Ste—and in particular to John M. Stark, Esq., for an accurate list of the several teachers threughout the Island, with their respective places of residence.
He trusts that the present Calendar will be found on the whole, much improved, and imparting much
