§450- FRANCIS HAZARD, 6 (Doctor Robert, 5; Caleb, 4.; George, 3; Robert, 2; Thomas, I), was born in 1769; he died in I814. He was born in South Kingstown, Rhode Island, and moved to New London, Connecticut. He married, in New London, Rebecca Truman. By this marriage, he became con-

nected with a family who had for two or three generations been conspicuous in the commercial enterprise of the town.
