     1763; he died 1830; he married, 1791, Elizabeth, daughter of Deputy Governor 
     
     George Brown, and ofI—Iannah Robinson his wife. She was born in 177 1, and died 
     
     in 1855. Benjamin Robinson was born in the house at 
     
     Narragansett Pier, now owned by Miss Mary Watson, 
     
    
   
   
    
     and called the “ Mansion House.” He lived there all z " 42’ 
     
     his life. His father gave him by will a part of the home— 
     
    
   
   
    
     stead farm with the house; he bought out his sister’s
