now called Canonchet. Here they lived until 1864, when they removed to' Brook—

lyn, New York. In 1883 they removed to Waco, Texas, where their two sons

were established in business. Mr. Thompson died in Waco in 1888 or 1889.

Mrs. Thompson, broken in health, but with a yearning desire to see once more

her old home within sound of the sea, returned to South Kingstown in July,

1891, and died at the home of her brother—in—law, B. F. Robinson, in Wakefield,

September 27, 1891.

§ 1958- CAROLINE ELIZABETH RODMAN, 8 (Samuel Rodman, 7; Eliz- abeth Hazard, 6; Stephen, 5; Thomas,4.; Stephen, 3; Robert, 2 ; Thomas, I),was born July 4, 1833; she married, November 20, 1854, Benjamin F. Robinson. She was born in the village of Peacedale, in a house that stood almost on the exact site where now stands the “ Hazard Memorial Hall,” and has always lived within a mile of her birthplace. Mr. Robinson was born within a few rods of the house where he has lived since he was ten years Old, in the Village of Wakefield. CHILDREN ‘

§ 1961. MARY PECKHAM RODMAN, 8 (Samuel Rodman,7; Elizabeth, 6;

Stephen, 5; Thomas, 4; Stephen, 3; Robert, 2; Thomas, I), was born in South Kingstown, Rhode Island, November 12, 1838; she married, November 10, 1859, William Henry Baldwin, of Baltimore, Maryland, son of William Henry and Maria (Woodward) Baldwin. He is a commission merchant and a large man- ufaé‘turer of textiles.
