Here lies in the firm hope of a blessed immortality The Right Reverend Atmeae Bernard MacEachern first Bishop of the Diocese of Charlottetofin After his ordination at the Scotch College, valladolid in Spain in 1785. he returned to Scotland, and, exercising the ministry there for five years, emigrated to this Island in 1790. He was consecrated Bishop at Quebec in 1821 and died in St. Andrews Parish, P.E.I. on the 22nd April 1835 in the 76th year of his 880. Eternal rest give unto him 0 Lord,

and let perpetual ligh shine upon him.
