During the period in which Mr. Mooney was a meT.ber of the government, he purchased a large farm of six hundred acres of land, and a mill, situate on Baldwin's Rend and upon his retirement from public life, lie renoved there to pass h!s ladt days near his daughters, Mrs. Francis Gurran and Mrs. Daniel Mulligan .
