DEDICATION This book is dedicated to the memory of the early settlers of this community. Their trust and confidence in God ; their loyalty to Church and Country; their resolve to clear the land, till the soil and build their homes; their realization of the need of education for their children; their desire to settle in a new land with its new opportunities, have laid the solid foundation on which this community has grown and developed and prospered.
