CHURCH DEDICATION, DEC. 6. 1903
The new church edifice, No. 3. was dedicated Dec. 6, 1903, and was the third church building erected by the Baptists of Kingsboro. The first one was. moved halt a mile trx‘estward and changed into a public school- house; the second had well served its day and generation and passed into historv. It had echoed the voices of many earnest and faithful preach- crs: had witnessed the glad harvest time of many joyous ingatherings; had looked out from its silent seat upon a fair landscape and a smiling
sea: had echoed the voice of song and sermon and had heard the rap— turous hallelujahs and the funeral dirge.

The new one was more conveniently located, its architecture was more in keeping with modern life, but the memory of :he old church with its tall spire and commanding location will long linger in the afiection of those who were re»horn there.
An unusually large congregation attended the dedicatory service. Deacon Scott ofTered a solemn prayer of dedication. The scriptures were read by Rev. E. Bell. l\/Iethodist; Rev. J. C. Spurr preached the dedicatory sermon. and Rev. 1.9V. Gardiner ofiered prayer. The after— noon service was well attended: Rev. Mr. Bell preached the sermon. On
