MORTON , 1927-1929 Pastor Morton was an excellent expositor of scripture. He was well liked by the older and more serious people. Shortly after he left, 1929, the Association was again held here. We had no pastor as Mr. Bell had not yet arrived. Ministers present were: Rev. R. W. Lindsay , Rev. W. R. MacWalker , Rev. Mr. Chisholm , Rev. Vincent , Rev. C. A. Britten , aiso Dr. DeWolfe of Acadia University, Dr. Zella Clark and Miss Flora Clark , missionaries from India. Many other ministers and missionaries attended the Association here whose names we cannot now recall or find on record. REV . H. R. BELL , 1929- This is Mr. Bell 's second pastorate here and no better testimony to his popularity with the church can be given. He is a hard worker and a faithful preacher and pastor. Mrs. Bell is his competent helper and is much beloved in the church. As a token of appreciation of the splendid service he has rendered the work on the Island, the Association elected him Moderator last year (1932). 36
