F. DEACON ALEXANDER SCOTT , JUNIOR Deacon Scott—the worthy son of a worthy and beloved father— has held the office of Deacon for nearly half a century. He is the oldest surviving deacon of the Church. A genial and kindly friend, a lovable associate, a loyal member of the Church, his influence will abide in the community long after he himself shall hav; passed away. Like his hon¬ ored father, his wealth does not consist in worldly possessions, but in hosts of old friends who love him for what he is,—for his abiding inter¬ est in all good causes and for his hearty co-operation in promoting to the extent of his ability the affairs of the Kingdom.
