DEACON GEORGE ROBERTSON
He was baptized by Rev. J. A. Gordon, 1878, ordained deacon Nov. 2nd, 1924, died March 27th, 1931, age sixty-nine years. He was one of God’s noblemen, an unassuming faithful servant of Jesus Christ. He gave liberally to the church and other Christian work. He left a legacy of $400.00 to the Forward Movement. By thrift and hard work he ac- cumulated a valuable estate. His wife was Margaret Mellick. They brought up two of her nieces, Mrs. T. J. Robertson and Mrs. Colin
Dixon, who are a credit to their Christian life and faithfulness.
