THE SUNDAY SCHOOL The Sunday School was organized about 1846. Mr. Scott , Sr., was the first superintendent. This office he filled efficiently for about forty years, when Theodore S. Robertson was elected to the office in which he continued until his death in 1924. He was as near the ideal superin¬ tendent and teacher as could be found amongst mortals. Nearly ap¬ proaching him as suitable to fill the office was his assistant, Earl Ken ¬ nedy, son of Cyrus Kennedy . He was appointed to succeed Mr. Robert ¬ son. He is still sustaining the splendid record of his predecessor both as superintendent and teacher. Silas Frazer is another outstanding teacher. He has taught the boys' class for more than ten years. Alex¬ ander Scott, Jr., has taught since he was a young man and he is still teaching at over eighty years of age. The Sunday School has had a line of extraordinary teachers, among whom we may mention the Scotts, lather and son, Donald Munn , Mary Munn , William Stewart , Sr., Jennie Frazer , William McVean , William Ford . 47
