Daniel A. Ford, brother of Rev. J. A. Ford, was born at Bothwell, East Point, P. E. I., Sspt. 24th, 1843. He was converted and baptized during the revival of 1874.

Not caring for the life of a farmer, he went West, and spent some years in Michigan, where he helped to conduct a Bible School among the lumbermen. Later he moved to Hill City, South Dakota, where he established a prosperous business, and won the esteem of his fellow townsmen. Here he assisted in establishing a Baptist Church and was appointed one of its deacons, and was also elected Superintendent of the

Bible School.
