THE SECOND PASTORATE OF REV . H. R. BELL 1929-1937 Half of this second pastorate of Mr. Bell 's, that from 1929-1933 is recorded in the Centennial History, which brought the records up to 1933. Therefore, here is recorded some notes from the second half of this term of service. During these four years, forty-one persons were baptized, many of them coming from the Sunday School, which has always been a vital factor in the history of this Church. Silas Fraser was the Superintendent of the Sunday School in the early thirties, when there were between fifty and sixty pupils. John Robertson succeeded Silas in 1936. He was followed in a year by Ralph Robert ¬ son, who served through the pastorate of Mr. Watterworth and into the third pastorate of Mr. Bell . The amount of money raised for current and denominational purposes was approximately twelve hundred dollars as compared with twelve thousand dollars in the late sixties. Mr. Bell had great executive ability as evidenced by the Centennial Celebration of the church which lasted from July 11 to July 16, 1933. Those taking part included Dr. F. W. Patterson , President of
