Rev. McClare and the choir members were the first group to go out Carol-singing and Robert Rose graciously agreed to take everyone in his truck. "^ 7 I 2! Sinnott 's pastorate the organist put in her resignation (1967) but a short time later agreed to continue playing for the evening services, weddings, and funerals. Mrs. Richard Ching has been playing the organ for the morning services since that time. She also accompanies the choir or some group from the choir as they sing in other churches. The choir members accompanied Rev. Sinnott to the , Montague, on several occasions to present a service in hymn singing and they also visited the , Souris , with Rev. Arthur Willis . The members of the World Wide Guild as well as groups of Young People have assisted in the choir at different times. In the spring of 1973 Mrs. Richard Ching and Mrs. John Hennessey began a choir practice with a group of senior young people, the Shalom Singers . This group made their first appearance in public when they sang at the morning church service on May 6th. On April 9. 1973 a Baldwin Electric organ was placed in the church at Kingsboro on trial and on April 29th a ballot vote was taken as to whether the organ would be purchased or not. The result of the voting was very much in favor of it and pledges amounted to more than enough money to pay for the organ without any debt. The choir decided to keep the Pearson organ as well, a memorial gift, unless the John Robertson family had other plans for it.
