Pastor usually leads the service while one of the laymen will read the Scripture, another offer prayer, and perhaps a third will give the address. The Choir attends and leads in the singing of old familiar hymns. Often one of the laymen will review past and present events, and mention the names of those who in the past year have gone on to their reward. Flowers are laid on the graves of loved ones during this service.
