Rev. & Mrs. Jackson Willett The Pastorate of 1976 - 1978 Rev. and Mrs. Jackson Willett In December 1976 Rev. and Mrs. Jackson Willett and their two children. Joel and Jana came to our field from New Brunswick where Rev. Willett served the Ludlow, Doaktown. Blissfield and Carroll's Crossing Baptist Churches for four years. For Rev. Willett 's Induction Service, Rev. K. Thompson read the Scripture and the sermon was preached by Rev. Ernest Sperring . Others taking part were Rev. H. Wardon , Rev. Wayne Wright. Rev. Brent Robertson and Rev. Bob Johnson. During Rev. Willett 's pastorate, services were also taken by Dr. Frank Sinnott , Rev. Byron Howlett , Rev. Robert Ross , Rev. Stairs , The Gideons, and Bobby MacGregor . Pastor Willett was a strong and true believer of God 's Word. Although his term was short he introduced some new things into our church. He began "Family Night" and the first of these services was held on November 9, 1977. Music was provided by the Senior choir and Shalom Singers . The Explorers with Mrs. Leith Robertson as their leader, presented a Skit with Brenda MacGregor accompanying them on the guitar for their singing. Rev. Marshall Thompson . Missionary from Bolivia, was guest speaker and presented a film. 13
