Pastor Resigns In August 1978 Pastor Willett was approached by the Ludlow Baptist Church in New Brunswick which was a part of his previous pastorate. After much prayer and because he could see the need of the area, he decided to go back and as a result he put in his resignation here and on September 24, 1978 he preached his farewell message as pastor of our churches. At this time during a social hour in his honor, he was presented with a substantial money gift from the two congregations. Pastor-Interim During the months of October, November and December after the resignation of Rev. Jackson Willett , the churches here were without a regular pastor. Dr. Frank Sinnott supplied in the pulpit for the first month, and after that the services were conducted by local talent mostly. Those taking the services in¬ cluded the Deacons , Members of the Women 's Missionary Society, World Wide Guild, Senior Choir. Shalom Singers , and Sunday School Group. Raymond Sellick and his group provided special music at the church in Kingsboro on the evening of November 26, 1978 by singing several selections with instrumental accompaniment. In December, through God 's grace and guidance and the effort of the Joint Committee - R. Stuart MacGregor , Leith Robertson and Irving Baker - Rev. Steve Dobbins was contacted and came to our area to minister to the two churches. 17
