On Sunday evening the service was conducted by the pastor and members of the D.V.B.S. classes which included a short Puppet Show by Rev. and Mrs. Dobbins.

Agape Players

The Agape Players presented a musical drama in the church on Sunday even- ing. September 30. I979. The group consisted of 14 members. They had the full service. They came as a group from Florida but represented several states.

One member came from Canada.

First Family Camp

The first family camp was held on the beach below Alexander (Sandy) Robertson‘s from August 3-5. 1979 with the pastor leading.

This camp was held for the two churches that he serves. It was a time of fun. fellowship. and some light discussion. People brought tents and trailers. The camp began on Friday afternoon and closed with an informal worship at 9 am. Sunday. Over 60 attended this camp.

Crusade

The pastor. Rev. Dobbins. did much preparing for Simultaneous Crusade. including arranging two 24-hour prayer vigils. holding counsellor training ses- sons. securing materials. helping in the preparation for baptismal classes. conducting the Baptismal Service and helping arrange follow-up classes on “Studies in Discipleship."

This Crusade was held from October 21—28. 1979 with Evangelist Dr. Robert (Bob) Bryan Whaley from Greenville, South Carolina. Special music was provided by the Senior Choir, Rev. and Mrs. Dobbins. lan Coffin, Explorers. Brent and Wade Bruce. and the Shalom Singers.

A batismal service followed the Crusade in the church baptistry. There \\ ere 26 candidates for baptism. also 37 rededications. Music was lead by the Senior Choir and Scripture Readers were Kenneth MacGregor. Viartin Ching. Stuart MacGregor. Russell Garrett. and Arthur Bruce.
