he left for the Atlantic Baptist College where he spent two years. It was during this time that he accepted Christ as his Savior. In 1976 he began a period of three years at UP. E.I . and received his B.A . and B. Ed . Two years later he was asked by Rev. Jack Willett to take charge of the Cavendish Beach Ministry and at the close of this term he began preaching at -Annandale United Baptist Churches while he was still attending university. The following year in May 1979 he became the full-time preacher for the churches for a year, and then preached on weekends for four months. He was married on July 12, 1980 to Margaret Waller whom he met at U.P.E.I. and they took up residence at Clyde River . It was while living here that their son. Robert William , was born on June 8, 1981. That fall, Bobby was called into the Lord's work full-time and he spoke with the elders at the Charlottetown Bible Chapel where he had been fellowshipping for almost a year, and he expects to be commended or recognized as a "full-time worker" by the Charlottetown and Montague Assemblies this fall 1982. During this past winter he was called to O'Leary , Springfield West , and Alma Baptist Churches where he ministered for four months in the absence of a regular pastor, and in the spring he was called to Montague Bible Chapel and he and his family have taken up residence in the area. Bobby wishes to make special mention of his parents, Harold and Amanda, whom he loves and appreciates; Dr. Stuart Murray whose preaching and teaching laid the foundation for his Christian life; and to Dale Biggar who had such a strong Christian influence over him. Senior Choir The Senior Choir members continue to take an active part in the music of the church services and present programs and Cantatas at Easter and at Christmas. A special feature on April 16, 1976 was the presentation of an Easter pro- ram over CBC-T. V . which was very interesting and enjoyable. This musical program was later presented in our church. Trophies have been given at the end of each year to the members who have attended the most choir practices. The winners to the present time are Harold Hunter . Wilbur Jarvis . Kenneth MacGregor , Lyman Rose , Edna Rose , Austin Fraser , Donald Fraser , Bertie Rose and Mavis Ching . During recent years a social evening was spent with Robert and Aletha Baker, Arthur and Evelyn Bruce, and Harold and Doreen Hunter to help 34
