New Books

Song books were presented to the church Family School at Kingsboro on September 17. I978 in memory of Bradford Bruce by the church school and

friends.

Cheque

In May 1978 a cheque for $3000 from the estate of Gertrude MacVean was presented to the Overseas Mission Board.

Cantata

On March 26. 1978 an Easter Cantata was presented by the Senior Choir and Shalom Singers. Wade and Brent Bruce sang during the Devotional and Ross

Young (Jr.) led the Devotional.

Chimes

Chimes were placed in the East Point United Baptist Church at Kinsboro in August 1979 by Mr‘ and Mrs. Kermit Bruce in memory oftheir son. Bradford. A cabinet was built to hold them by Peter Stewart and Harold Hunter. The first Communion pitcher is also encased in this cabinet. Until this date it was taken care of through the years by Mrs. Della Fraser.

Course in Evangelism

Rev. Steve Dobbins attended a Course in Evangelism in Indianapolis from November 25 - 30, 1979. It was called “Order of Andrew" - trained to be a

trainer. 40
