February 18, 1916 A patriotic meeting was held at the church. The speakers were Rev. Father P.C. Gauthier D.D., Rev. George F. Dawson, and Rev. Emmanuel Lockhart. The ladies

from Alberton sang several songs.

April 16, 1916 We went down to church, but the service was not held. I gave wine to Myrtle Costain

and Elva Rix as there was no sacrament.

him a dollar.
