     Collections in the morning totaled $429.63 and $187.24 in the evening in 
     
     addition to a special collection for the Vacation Bible School. 
     
    
   
   
    
     The 100th Anniversary Celebration was a splendid occasion in many ways. The 
     
     event not only brought together so many people to recognize the importance of the 
     
     work of the Founding Fathers, but also it caused such an awakening of interest in 
     
     the Miminegash United Church by its members and friends that within a year, the 
     
     congregation began to discuss the possibility of an addition to the original church 
     
     building to provide a hall for the Sunday School and for church and community 
     
     events. After one hundred years, what had provided this quickening in the interest 
     
     of the church? Was it due in part to the celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the 
     
     church building and its significance to the present members and friends of the
