JOSEPH SELLER 1878 - 1881 The Rev. Joseph Seller was born near Charlottetown, P.E.I. in 1845 and attended Mount Allison University where he was awarded a Master of Arts degree. He was received on trial in 1866, ordained in 1871, and had pastorates in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island. Rev. Seller came from an unusual Prince Edward Island family. His ancestor, William Seller and Mrs. (Sarah Harrison) Seller came to York, P.E.I. in. 1817 from Hull, England. Through the years, the Seller family produced twenty-one ministers and several local preachers. Rev. Seller was married to Sarah Margaret Ward in Parrsboro, N.S. on July 6, 1871, and they had eight children. The first occupants of the new Parsonage in 1875 in Centreville, P.E.l. were Rev. and Mrs. Seller and family.
