MILBURN BIBLE CHRISTIAN CONGREGATION The people of Milburn formed a Bible Christian Society in 1850 and were served by Class Leaders as well as preachers from the Ebenezer Circuit in West Cape and later from the West Cape Circuit. They were known as Bryanites after the founder of their sect, William O’Bryan, as well as Bible Christians. From the earliest days remembered, probably 1850, services were held in the home of Nathaniel Boulter, continuing for meetings became half Bible Christian and half Methodist. The Wesleyan Magazine dated November 26, 1885 reported that, “At 208 thirty years during which time the
