Among the families who attended the various meetings in the Hall were:
David MacAusland family Hugh MacMillan family The MacDougall family Malcolm Adams family W.M. Smith family George, Ina and Percy Fox Ernest Adams family Robert Warren family Robert Nelson Shaw family George Shaw family Daniel Graham family The Pratt family
John Smith family
Some of the early Sunday School teachers included Richard Adams and later,
his son, Ernest Adams. Robert Warren, who was killed in action in World War I, served for many years as a teacher. There were many others who participated in the Sunday School of the area, and the movement was active until about 1945. The Hall was nearly lost in a fire in 1914 or 1915 during a rehearsal for an Easter Concert.
The final use of the “Little Hall” was a series of Gospel Meetings held by members of the Gospel Hall denomination in the late 1950’s.
The Hall fell into disrepair and was the target for damage by vandals. The decline of the community and the population of the area made remodeling out of the question and, as a result, the Hall was torn down in the 1960’s by a crew hired under
a Winter Works Program.
