Jacob and Hillegonda Visser

Jacob Visser, the son of Wietze and Doetje Visser, moved to Ontario and California for some time, but returned to settle in OnNeII Cove, where he started his own farm, raising sheep and growing potatoes. Jacob met Hillegonda Reym, who was visiting the Island, and they married in 1972. They have two children, Stephen Paul Alexander, who has graduated from M.R.H.S., and Andrea Christina, who attends Grade 9 at V.R.C.S. They purchased their farm from A. Irving Nicholson on the Cove Road. The old homestead is presently being rented.
