Thursday, April 18, 1987 Mr. Speaker : (Inaudible) Walter R. Shaw : You didn't even ask him, Mr. Speaker . I am asking you. Honourable Robert E. Campbell : Mr. Speaker ..... Mr. Speaker : I don't know just what he meant. Walter R. Shaw : I don't care what he meant. Lord knows who that..... Honourable Robert E. Campbell : Yes he is, he is the Leader; he was the Leader of the Conservative Party when this cheque was made out, and was okayed by his Party to buy seed oats. (Commotion) Walter R. Shaw : It is a simple question. There is no use looking over at the Premier or anything else, I am asking you to decide it. You are the Speaker here and he made a statement that I take objection to. Mr. Speaker : Under your Government Walter R. Shaw : I don't care. He didn't say my Government. He didn't say my Government, Mr. Speaker , he said I did. Now let us have a decision. Mr. Speaker : I didn't understand it that way. Wlter R. Shaw : Well, I just heard it that way. Honourable Robert E. Campbell : Mr. Speaker , if he thinks that I refer to him personally, I will take it back. I will take it back. I will go over it again, Mr. Speak ¬ er, and I will tell you the whole story again. It is a lovely- Your face is quite red now and it will be redder before I am all through with some more cheques I have, and some more letters. I think it would be your best place. Are you listening to me Sir? Walter R. Shaw : Mr. Speaker , every time I look at him my face gets red Honourable Robert E. Campbell : I dont blame it a bit. Now Mr. Speaker , I complimented them last night on how nice they were to me and how they didnt inter¬ rupt me when I waa carrying on with my speech, I waa very pleased with H, with the Conservative Government over there. They did a wonderful job, they never even said a word. Walter R. Shaw : This is not the Government. This is the Opposition. Honourable Robert E. Campbell : No, No, that is right Now we will get back to . We have heard a lot about this park that was promised to . We have looked over a lot of places and we have not yet decided where this park will be, but in due course, it will be the golf course up in . Also, we are looking forward to having some of our parks enlarged and probably a second park up there too. J. Cyril Sinnott : Will the Speaker permit a question? Honourable Robert E. Campbell : Yes, Sir, I am only too glad. J. Cyril Sinnott : May I ask if this Golf Course is going to be in place of Fish- Plant for Alberton or will you have both ? Honourable Robert E. Campbell : That just sounds like a question you would ex¬ port from you. I also checked here yesterday and asked a question about the extension of the Community hospital in CLeary. That is something that I have worked for since I came into this House and the Conservative Government was in power for seven years and what did they do? But once the Liberal Government took over for seven or eight months, they expert the extension to be there. But it will be there, dont worry about that. You will be aware of a good Government; we have a good Leader, we have a good Premier, we have good Members, except that one from . We are hoping that the extension will be put on CLeary Hospital. Now coming down to the time of the Conservative Party, it is terribly funny. One Conservative run against a Liberal Member , and on the 26th day of July 1966 there was a Minute-in-Council giving a man f 12,500.00. On the next day, on the 27th a cheque was issued and on the 28th, on the morning of the 28th, it was cashed. $12,- —159—
